Services

Dysport- Frown Line Injectable

Dysport is an FDA-approved injectable treatment for the temporary improvement of the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines (glabellar lines) between the eyebrows in adults less than 65 years of age. Dysport is a neuromodulator, an injection of a small amount of botulinum toxin that treats frown lines when injected into underlying muscle, causing it to relax and gradually smooth out the appearance of the frown lines between the brows.

Meet the Providers

Joel Gates, DO

Dr. Gates attended University of Colorado, Oklahoma State University, and completed his residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO. He has been practicing Family Medicine in Ridgway for 18 years, and along the course of time, many patients inquired about “what could be done” about wrinkles and small blemishes on the skin. After tiring of the reply, “I cannot help you with those,” and prompting from a neighbor who happened to be a Galderma Certified Trainer, he began to look into the treatments and technology of Aesthetic Medicine. He went to a medical conference that was not sponsored by the manufacturers of these products to gain insights into what was available – first focusing on Medical Dermatology – identifying and treating malignancies of the skin with advanced procedures. He has incorporated Medical Aesthetics into his practice as one more modality that helps his patients feel great about themselves and their health.

Ali Joseph, NP

Ali is originally from Arizona but has lived in many locations across the world, including South Korea! She moved to Ridgway in 2021. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and commissioned into the US Air Force in 2013. After spending four years on active duty at Eglin AFB, she continued her education and graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2020.

Jessica Lanser, Esthetician

Jessica is excited to join the Aesthetics by Cedar Point Health team. She has vast knowledge of skincare and facial procedures. Jessica is certified in many facial modalities and prides herself in continuing education as well as staying up to date with the most current procedures and cutting edge skincare ingredients. She looks forward to expanding the services we are able to offer our clients in a friendly, safe environment. Jessica is a Montrose native. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being engaged in the community.
