Cedar Point Health is building a new facility!

CPH has built a new facility and is officially up and running in a new Ambulatory Care Center (ACC).

An Ambulatory Care Center is a term to describe outpatient services such as radiology, surgical, and primary care.

Cedar Point Health has partnered with Montrose Regional Health to provide a multitude of services in one convenient location in Montrose. This building is located on the south end of Montrose adjacent to Target and Hobby Lobby near the intersection of Townsend and Rio Grande Avenue in Montrose.

Cedar Point Health services feature Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Behavioral Health in one location for ease of use of our patients.

The ACC is completed and we are excited to be serving our Montrose patients from the new location.

Which Cedar Point Health clinics will be located in this building?

Our South 5th and Family Practice and our Nevada Internal Medicine and Primary practices are now located at the new ACC building. This includes our Behavioral Health Services and Care Management Services. All the providers working at these two locations have been relocated to the new ACC.

When will the new building be constructed?

The building construction started in the third quarter of 2022 and officially opened 3/10/2024.

Where will the ACC be located?

The ACC is conveniently located adjacent to Target and the new Hobby Lobby near the intersection of Townsend and Rio Grande Avenue in Montrose. Cedar Point Health occupies the entirety of the 3rd floor.

Who owns the building?

Cedar Point Health is part owner of the facility along with the developer, Nexcore. Montrose Regional Health is leasing a significant portion of the building and is investing money into state-of-the-art radiology and surgical equipment. But MRH does not own the building.

What is Cedar Point Health's relationship with MRH?

Cedar Point Health is independently owned by local practicing physicians. CPH supports MRH as a vital part of our community and supports them in many ways including: providing Hospitalist Services, referring patients for services that include lab, radiology, surgical, and specialty services. CPH believes that independently owned and operated groups provide the best care and are most aligned with the patients. For this reason, CPH has grown both geographically and with new services and providers in an effort or maintain independence and maximize our ability to provide the best patient care.
